Good for the Brain

Trying something new strengthens connections in the brain!

Teamwork

Singing in a choir takes a full team! Work together with others to achieve a common goal.

It's fun!

Sing familiar and new melodies while having fun with new friends!

Singing in a choir is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the strength and resilience of this community while making music together.

Research shows that music can improve mood and morale!

In addition to helping participants get their words out clearly, studies show that music can enhance moods after a stroke, and our participants also get a natural mood boost by being surrounded by a circle of supporters as they work toward their goals.

  • Sing with no worry about words or reading!Sing and make a noise for enjoyment!

    Build confidence, make friends!

Sam, who is a musical director of La La Choirs, leads the singing.

Sam is trained in aphasia and everyone joins in at their own pace. We all understand that singing benefits the body and the soul.

Sam achieves a fantastic sound from everyone at our singing group- and you’ll leave with a smile on your face.

Come along – we’d love to meet you!
